At least from the video I've seen, it looks like he suffered the same consequences any person would have by going somewhere they weren't supposed to be. While I understand that him being a champion and not getting an invite is a whole thing, we have to realize that "person sneaks backstage and gets kicked out" isn't unique. |

| /u/The_Hoopla Its so scary how good this shit is getting though. Legitimately, about a year ago, the only people LLM generated images would fool would be the same people that fall for phone scams. They were all hyper-saturated, far too perfect, obvious AI-slop that looked like they were an ad for some spammy mobile game. Now? I work in the industry (unfortunately). I am very familiar with models, trends, new technologies, etc. If I hadn't seen video before this of Strickland wearing a different shirt, or had seen the original photo this was generated from...I think it would trick me. The only reason I know it's fake is due to context clues outside of this photo. The photo itself is doesn't have anything immediately, or even slightly more deeply, obvious to indicate it's fake. You're already seeing the outcomes of this with Eric Trump calling screenshots of him sports betting on the fights "AI Fakes". Whether he's lying or telling the truth, the fact that's a valid excuse now should horrify everyone. We live in a post-truth era. |
